RUPA’s mission is to work for the positive changes of disadvantaged population particularly women, children, religion and ethnic minorities and people with disability through holistic and integrated community interventions.
Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change
We save lives during emergencies as a front fighter, we started disaster response since our born, our programme works to build the resilience of most vulnerable communities with the motto of “LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND”. We fight for preventing COVID-19. We build community leaders for emergency response to address the climate change impacts.
Environment and Natural Resource Management
We build inclusive toilets and water sources; our water treatment plants provide safe drinking water for 12,000 people continuously. We work for protecting environment through nursery development, homestead plantation, awareness raising, reducing chemical use, fertilizer use, developing composts, regenerative agriculture, reducing plastic use etc.
Economic development and Financial Inclusion
We support families to access financial services, manage and build assists, invest in small enterprises through micro-finance program. We also build financial literacy, create employment for both female, male and income generating opportunities for the most marginalised community group that help many people to get financial freedom.
Education for all
We provide literacy education for women and out of school children. Our program included developing school going habit, computer training, English speaking, Debating class and General knowledge. We are currently facilitating 70 schools, and support to sub-component 2.5 under Primary Education Development Program-4 (PEDP- 4).
Health and nutrition
We organize free medical camp and distribute medicine to the rural lower income group. we are building mass awareness on health and hygiene, prevention of dowry, child marriage, Prevention of woman and child trafficking, Prevention of drug addiction, Primary Health & Nutrition Education, Disability Development, Water and sanitation, HIV/AIDS/STD Prevention etc.
